PETA slams Discovery, Eaten Alive star for anaconda stunt

A wildlife filmmaker, who will be eaten alive by an anaconda in order to test out a custom-made snake-proof suit for a controversial new TV stunt, has been slammed by animal rights organisation PETA.
ched publicity stunt that was lethal for the animal. He further called the filmmaker a pseudo 'wildlife expert' for tormenting and likely killing an animal for a thrill, and criticised the Discovery Channel for giving him a chance to do it.

The spokesperson added that whatever the filmmaker has planned, the snake will likely pay the ultimate price, as animals usually do when they're used for entertainment.

The show received mixed reactions on twitter as some found it 'craziest but cool' thing to get eaten by a snake, while others found it 'totally unnecessary' and a 'disgusting display of animal cruelty.'
